Title: thieves
Post by: KnightofNi on July 10, 2009, 04:13:24 PM
so my g/f manages 2 tanning salons (no, she's not one of the typical people you find there, it's the family business)

yesterday someone stole 2 bottles of lotion that are almost $100 each while his g/f was in tanning.
the g/f played stupid and tried to just deflect it like she couldn't and wouldn't do anything about it. didn't give up much info other than his first name.

i love the internets and social networking sites.
i also love narcisitic douchebags that put all of their info online.
the guys quote on myspace is "K@rm@ is a Muth@ make the beast with two backsin pregnant dog!"

isn't it though?  [laugh]

Every time I hear that someone works in a tanning salon, I think of that scene from "Armed and Deangerous" w/ the late, great John Candy where they are at a fancy dinner and that one chick pulls her dress down to reveal that she doesn't have any tan lines b/c she works at a tanning salon and can tan all she wants.  I love that movie!!

Yeah, but only when you guy it retail by the dose/use. You expect a little better deal when you buy the whole bottle. I mean, unless this stuff the the Johnny Walker Blue Label of moisturizer.

I LIKE walker, but don't LOVE it. That said, I can't see $212 for a blended scotch.

Give the GOLD label a try. It's much more reasonably priced, at around $80/bottle.
It's got a lot of bite, very smokey. Blows Black or Green out of the water.

I'll try a double if I can find it at a bar, but I am hesitant to drop that much scratch on a bottle. Maybe when I slide through duty free, perhaps.

Look, Kni-he probably really needed those bottles o goo, hence he'd jeopardize his whole future to get 'em.

I think in the spirit of goodwill and paying-it-forward, you should give him an additional two bottles. Just turn them sideways before you shove them up his ass.

Seriously, I think I speak for all of us when I think you should get an old style viking helmet/costume, and go beat the tar out of the lowlife. Then carve "Karma is a pregnant dog" on his forehead.

yeah, i'm in cahoots with this guy. it's just what i would do. pick someone with a personality that clashes with mine and that i would normally laugh at in public to do the dirty work. that way it wouldn't seem like we were in league with each other.
you found me out vin.

You really should report the theft. Keeping it to yourself is as if you are saying you approve of a guy like that being a cop.

it already was reported. as soon as she got the video of him taking it she called the police. after she got his name she gave that too.

however, since the g/f stopped in to pay (he is banned from the store) it's not being pursued.

My current partner applied for a fire job with the city of Portland

in the Chief's Interview the Chief asked him at the end if there was anything he felt he needed to explain about his past

he said no and didn't get the job

the item the Chief was refering to was a 5 finger job of a tube of toothpaste when he was 18

he took the test at 35

Civil service is serious as shit about things you and i feel are rather petty

but

to them it shows a pattern of behavior

Doesn't something have to happen more then once to be a pattern?  I can see them taking things seriously, but there had to be something else.  I know a kid that grew up around me used to sell drugs in hs, but now I've heard he's a cop.
