Title: Halloween Costumes
Post by: KnightofNi on October 15, 2009, 08:05:21 AM
I'm still trying to figure out what I'm going to do.

I have been in discussions with my friend (who happens to be throwing the party) and he doens't know what he's going as either.

we came up with something to work as together.
it's a crime fighting duo.

Dongstache and Vagman - Dongstache has a really long doulbe headed dildo as a mustache which he uses to pummel criminals. Vagman is a large vajayjay that wraps the criminals up and suffocates them of at least holds them untilt he police arrive. (there's the added bonus that should i get cranky and run off as v-man i will drop a trail of sand and can be found easily)

to the 2 of us this is utterly hilarious.

our other idea stems from a superhero party we had a few years ago. everyone came as a diff hero. we spent a lot of time on these costumes and as ghetto as they were, we were dam proud.
then out one friend shows up wearing the deviled egg costume he had already reused 4 times before and slapped a superman S on the front. He was "super egg"
in order to remind him of how lame we all thought he was we were going to get 6-12 people to dress and super egg.

we are still looking for ideas.

It seems like every year we wait too long to come to any sort of a final idea. Why does it get to be so hard to dress up? It was never this hard when we were kids!!!

We too have a friend throwing a party and want to dress up. So I think that we've got to figure something out this weekend!!

Halloween is just over 2 weeks away!  [evil]

V-Man sounds like friend's "sloppy coslopus" costume.  ;)

This one is pretty origional - Classic Toy Soldier

The website where I found it said that the guy would approach a house, ring the doorbell, and before anyone answered, he would throw down the wooden base and assume his position on the sidewalk

Would Mudders Milk suffice? Anyone know the rules on gifting beer in the US?

That Army man is cool. Reminds me of one group costume I saw in DC.  3 guys, in red soccer shorts and jersys, skin painted red, with silver tubes sticking out of their hips. Yep, Foose ball guys. They could even link up the tubes to form a unit. It was pretty good.

The most fun I had with a costume was about 15 years ago when I was in way better shape and had little body fat:

We (the db I was dating at the time) each chose a nice outfit we decided we would never wear again.  Put it on and went to a party (which I was not thrilled to go to - super snobby people).  The entrance was through the kitchen of this home and that's where everyone was.

We didn't get far, people handed us drinks...we stayed there for about an hour talking w/everyone.  Got abuse for not putting a costume on.  We explained we had a dinner to be at that night and we were just stopping by.

Finally, the crowd started moving around and we walked through.  The people who were giving us so much crap about not dressing up finally shut up.

They saw that we had completely cut out the backs of our clothes (w/the exception of just a few thin horizontal strips to keep it together).  So yes, our back-sides were completely exposed.

That's my story.  Not too exciting but it shut the snobs up and shocked quite a few people.   ;)

Welding gloves and goggles I've got. Just trying to find a Dr. Horrible lab coat that doesn't cost $100.

Should that fall through, I'll just go get some red fabric paint and splash it on a white dress shirt, make a name tag that says Shawn, and tie a red tie around my head. Never fails, someone always points out "You've got some red on you."

No party to attend....yet.

But I'm thinking a cheap Sally-A suit cut and ripped up.  Ripped up duffle bag stuffed with fake money.  Harness around upper body with some short cords attached.  Messed up hair and tape on my glasses.

Nope. His most definitely buttons along the shoulder. That's what makes it a Dr. Horrible lab coat and not your average dental hygienist's lab coat.

Then again, maybe I should just go as a dental hygienist. Lots of people plenty scared 'o them.

I wanted to go as a douchebag this year, but the GF was mortified.  Wear expensive jeans, a popped collar pink shirt, gell my hair into a faux-hawk, and get some stupid Gucci womens' sunglasses.  Or maybe an Audiger tee instead of the popped collar polo.  Oh yeah, and a gold chain.  Would have to shave my beard though......I'm guessing it would get me into at least one fight.

I had two costumes last year:
Advisor to Castro - that's my buddy in the background modeling the Steve Sissou crew uniform

Jim Belushi as the Samurai (SNL themed party)

One of my favorite jokes is to pin a dollar bill under my chin and ask "Who am I?"

I have yet to have anyone answer correctly: Christopher Reeve at a strip club.

My buddy got a Superman Costume and a wheel chair last year.  Pretty hilarious.

My favorite costume of all time was a "Blind Gynocolgist"  I put on scrubs and dark glasses and had a sign that said I read lips.  Also got a hold of a speculum.  Walking around Athens OH during a huge Halloween party I got a lot of dirty looks from hot chicks.  Probably didn't help that I was drunk and screaming "Who wants a free pap smear?"

Many years ago, I went as a box of Monistat 7.

The ex was a yeast infection (maybe she still is rim shot!)

The only issue was cutting a hole in the box so I could hold a beer.

My son is going as Abraham Lincoln w/ bullet wounds. He's just waiting for people to tell him it's tasteless so he can ask "too soon?"

I may just have to "fanboy out" and go in costume myself.

Well, if you have the flu, or look like you have the flu, you could always put some yellow eyeshadow on and a full set of leathers and go as Casey Stoner.

At least the motogp people would get it.

Reminds me..as I was riding around ASU/Tempe Town Lake 2 weekends ago when I saw a guy wearing a huge "flava flav-like" clock around his neck, gold chains, red sweats, African flag colored t-shirt (looked like design from '89/'90), an afro AND in black-face. :-X

He was peddling a kids bike (circa '79..one with a long banana seat and orange flag) up a hill.  I assume it was a frat prank or rush?  He was by himself though and about to go down the hill into the park where a lot of "ballers" were playing.

Don't know the outcome of that one?  [laugh]

We had a visit from the Unibomber at the party.  He hid bombs around the house, including a ticking timebomb under the bed.  [laugh]  Several omemade dirty bombs complete with LED's, batteries, clocks, nails, screws, etc.  I imagine he spent a fair amount of time making them since they actually worked.  Pics of his handywork to come.

The fact that you still have that Ghostbuster pack makes me happy, i used to play with that when i was little....also the little plastic trap where you stepped onthe little thing and the air forced the little doors to open on the trap.....life was simple then, Ghosts went easy
