My wife informed me there was a duc on tv, so naturally I came to look. She was watching music vids and this video was on
Chris Brown - I Can Transform Ya You Music Video ft Lil Wanye & Swizz Beatz (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_N2jvyLc6w#normal)
They talk or say something about a ducati and show a cbr or some other Japanese bike (they all look alike, sorry I can't tell the difference
However, before they show the cbr they DO show what looks like a dark 1098 for a split second (and the wife was right).
Bikes are shown at 2:08 (cbr), 2:18(duc), 2:59(cbr again, when they actually say "ducati")
Rant over.
I'm sorry I made you watch a rap video :(
back to your regular scheduled programming
Metallica - Master of Puppets (S&M) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6KtF7ql3FJc#normal)
This makes me cry because i dont have all the money they do and I can rhyme ducati and bugatti......hmmmm what else rhymes with ati?
O.K. you made up for it with Metallica, I was at that concert ;)
Stupid = millionaires?
Metalica (was) = [thumbsup]
Metalica (NOW) = Douche bags
We met James Hetfield at LAX. My friend asked for an autograph, and he said "no" because everyone else would want one also...no one else was there, and the few people that did happen to pass by in the couple hours that we were there had no clue who he was. douche bag!
Never thought I would say it, but that made me miss SnoopDogg fo shizzle.
i heard the original plan for that song was to rhyme "lamborghini" with "bikini" but the lambo people pulled out after he famously beat-up his girlfriend in one of their cars.
i like rap. the stuff that came out in the 80s and early 90s. the crap they put out today, i just don't get it.
uh oh ... starting to sound like my parents.
Damn You MinnesotaMonster!
It is 2am and I am walking around work with that damn song in my head. I am gonna be stuck on it all night.
-I realize I should blame myself for watching it, but I prefer to blame others
Meh.. I'm more irritated at all the folly artists who insist on making every none cruiser bike in a move sound like an I4 than these guys....

spag-ati?
if the plan was bikini and lamborghini, you'd think he'd go ducati and hottie. on the bright side, this should get people with more money than brains to jump on the trend, buy a duc that they will likely wreck and aftermarket salvage parts will be plentiful and cheap for everyone else.

I like your style...unless they try to sell it for 10x the amount its worth because "LIL Wayne Wrecked this....he at one point touched it!! OMG OMG OMG!!!"
i hate modern rap (old school is not my cup of tea but I can dig it). it represents the very essence of everything i despise in popular culture. i could rant but....
anyone else noticed a strange evolving obsession with ducs from the ghetto culture? i get so many compliments and rants and raves about my bike and being a girl on a bike from rap blasting cars involving "shizzles" and words that if, even with proper annunciation (as if ever), I could not begin to understand. wtf,?
and the other day i even got, "es not a busa, but es cool, girl" really? really? its Italian, mate. like espresso, you know, that prehistoric substitute for Monster Energy; Like Ferragamo, before you were selling D&G logo-covered knock-offs in hidden street corners out of garbage bags...
and back to the rap note - how does one guy makes so much $ off so many songs that are all exactly the same? and how is this lil wayne guy featured in EVERYTHING? so many questions. so much confusion!
wow. modern rap puts me in a bad mood, eh?
who even pays for rap anyway?? I don't get where they make money from it.... every time I saw someone with a rap cd it was stolen

While annunciation
is a word, I think you probably meant enunciation.

CD? What's a CD? (and quit hanging out with geezers like ducpainter ;D)
digital track sales exceeded $1 billion in 08
Lil Wayne's album had 2.8 million sales, with one song receiving 3.2 mil by itself. (i think those are sales, not dollars)

LIES, I was totally referring to the angel Gabriel...and shit. or is it just that my catholic school taught me far more about annunciation than enunciation?

I guess I would probably listen to rap if it weren't for the fact that I prefer music so much.

I noticed this the other day. I was wearing a Ducati jacket in Oakland, and I got tons of complements and Ducati comments from the ghetto types. I was like WTF? I guess idiotic rappers have made ducati popular in that crowd. I was oblivious til that video was posted.

that's rap in my book. what you posted was nonsense pop.
the above is best performed live, acoustic guitar-ed by a chubby white dude. i do not have a video of that, but i'll bust out the ipod next time matty gets to singing at a bar near Nashville.
Awesome rap

You just sound so ignorant.
You live up to the typical perception of Ducati owners by others especially non-ducati bikers. I am starting to believe they are right.

The comment from NiteWalf "I got tons of complements and Ducati comments from the ghetto types. I was like WTF? "
That is what I am referring to. I could not care less about people's music taste. That's personal and subjective.
