My wife informed me there was a duc on tv, so naturally I came to look. She was watching music vids and this video was on

Chris Brown - I Can Transform Ya You Music Video ft Lil Wanye & Swizz Beatz

They talk or say something about a ducati and show a cbr or some other Japanese bike (they all look alike, sorry I can't tell the difference

However, before they show the cbr they DO show what looks like a dark 1098 for a split second (and the wife was right).

Bikes are shown at 2:08 (cbr), 2:18(duc), 2:59(cbr again, when they actually say "ducati")

Rant over.

I'm sorry I made you watch a rap video  :(

Metalica (was) =  [thumbsup]

Metalica (NOW) = Douche bags

We met James Hetfield at LAX.  My friend asked for an autograph, and he said "no" because everyone else would want one also...no one else was there, and the few people that did happen to pass by in the couple hours that we were there had no clue who he was. douche bag!

i heard the original plan for that song was to rhyme "lamborghini" with "bikini" but the lambo people pulled out after he famously beat-up his girlfriend in one of their cars.

i like rap.  the stuff that came out in the 80s and early 90s.  the crap they put out today, i just don't get it.

uh oh ... starting to sound like my parents.

spag-ati?

if the plan was bikini and lamborghini, you'd think he'd  go ducati and hottie. on the bright side, this should get people with more money than brains to jump on the trend, buy a duc that they will likely wreck and aftermarket salvage parts will be plentiful and cheap for everyone else.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

i hate modern rap (old school is not my cup of tea but I can dig it). it represents the very essence of everything i despise in popular culture. i could rant but....

anyone else noticed a strange evolving obsession with ducs from the ghetto culture? i get so many compliments and rants and raves about my bike and being a girl on a bike from rap blasting cars involving "shizzles" and words that if, even with proper annunciation (as if ever), I could not begin to understand. wtf,?
and the other day i even got, "es not a busa, but es cool, girl" really? really? its Italian, mate. like espresso, you know, that prehistoric substitute for Monster Energy; Like Ferragamo, before you were selling D&G logo-covered knock-offs in hidden street corners out of garbage bags...

and back to the rap note - how does one guy makes so much $ off so many songs that are all exactly the same? and how is this lil wayne guy featured in EVERYTHING? so many questions. so much confusion!

wow. modern rap puts me in a bad mood, eh?

BryanS

who even pays for rap anyway??  I don't get where they make money from it.... every time I saw someone with a rap cd it was stolen
