Sure you could probably throw a composite frisbee farther but the impressive part about discus is that it weighs a ton in comparison and has crap aerodynamics. I cringed watching that vid, fearing a Hard Way-ish result, and lo and behold... as much as i respect his cojones, you would think he would have learned a little throttle control/touch by now. A few more of those, and provided he keeps "walking away" (after a short hospital trip/stay) he will be drinking from a straw & mumbling incoherently for the rest of his life. or at least come up with a better handlebar pad for the inevitable impact with your head when you over-jump.
