Well looky there - somebody put a set of real forks on a Harley  [evil]
996 forks, BoomTubes, frame sliders, CRG bar-end mirrors, vizitech integrated tail light, rizoma front turn signals, rizoma grips, cycle cat multistrada clip ons, pantah belt covers - more to come

The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary. H. L. Mencken

I just can't get excited about that jump.  Seth's done double that distance on a real bike.  Going 150 feet shorter than the overall record is supposed to be something special because he's on a Harley?

Seth is still cool in my book though.  Just don't see the point....

I look at it kind of like the Discus. Sure you could probably throw a composite frisbee farther but the impressive part about discus is that it weighs a ton in comparison and has crap aerodynamics.

Seth definitely has a thing for tattoos, doesn't he?

Wouldn't be surprised if he has em on his nether parts.

Ouch.

He is one crazy MoFo.  I cringed watching that vid, fearing a Hard Way-ish result, and lo and behold...  as much as i respect his cojones, you would think he would have learned a little throttle control/touch by now.  A few more of those, and provided he keeps "walking away" (after a short hospital trip/stay) he will be drinking from a straw & mumbling incoherently for the rest of his life.

or at least come up with a better handlebar pad for the inevitable impact with your head when you over-jump.
