Hey all...so have no money and want to do something to the bike and the belt covers look pretty bad so Im going to paint em. Im just asking for recommendations on color and Im leaning towards black. (yes I know a viable option is removing them all together but not entirely comfortable with that). Color is red/white stripe/white wheels. Thoughts???? Thanks!

the only color that would look good is black!! [thumbsup]
Black is probably safest, but red or white could look cool too.
yea...thats what im thinking. Black is the safest bet...red might work. Will see what they have at home depot. Thanks dudes
Well, since you care enough to ask, CHARTREUSE
I used black high temperature BBQ paint. After it dries, it turns a little grey-ish.
I tried the BBQ paint and it also turned gray. Looked bad in my opinion so I went out and got some Krylon Fusion satin black. Looks amazing after 3 coats! I got bored and shot the sprocket cover with a few coats as well.
got some gloss black plastic paint and some adhesive prep. Here it goes...gonna hit the sprocket too.
used krylon fusion satin black, for chrome headlight ring, belt covers and passenger foot pegs

Might be difficult to ride a Ducati with NO BELTS at all. Probably better to just remove the covers. ;D

THanks man...that is a cool color scheme and different. Painted my gloss black, and it looks good, but after seeing this may paint them satin.

Juan yours is the best looking monster Ive seen in awhile! Same as mine but white wheels and the only mods ive got are bar end mirrors.. :(.. Nice though...where did you get that belly pan? How much did it cost to paint? Thats on my list of things to do. First is exhaust, tail chop, clip ons...
Thanks adamld83, just take it one thing at a time...
the belly pan I got it from Monsterparts..! http://www.monsterparts.com/c/Bodywork-Carbon/Bodywork-Carbon.html (http://www.monsterparts.com/c/Bodywork-Carbon/Bodywork-Carbon.html)
