Hey all...so have no money and want to do something to the bike and the belt covers look pretty bad so Im going to paint em. Im just asking for recommendations on color and Im leaning towards black. (yes I know a viable option is removing them all together but not entirely comfortable with that). Color is red/white stripe/white wheels. Thoughts???? Thanks!

Black is probably safest, but red or white could look cool too.

I used black high temperature BBQ paint.  After it dries, it turns a little grey-ish.

I tried the BBQ paint and it also turned gray.  Looked bad in my opinion so I went out and got some Krylon Fusion satin black.  Looks amazing after 3 coats!  I got bored and shot the sprocket cover with a few coats as well.

got some gloss black plastic paint and some adhesive prep. Here it goes...gonna hit the sprocket too.
