Just Ride.... (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ukrb9JGnFFA#normal)
Wanted to share this with you, a little update of what I have been up to since my accident and my subsequent recovery.
Love you all!
Kurt
Very cool. I joined up on TOB just a few days before your accident, so I never got a chance to 'meet' you, but I watched all the efforts around helping you post. Good to see you prospering
DUUUUUUUUUUDE!
Get your bike down here so we can go riding!

BIG [thumbsup] !!
Inspirational isn't a strong enough word.
Rock on, man. [moto]
Also, Crowbar is being modest. He's not one to ring his own bell, so I'll ring it for him. He's been up to a bit more than finding his BMX roots since his crash.
First thing you gotta do is add 'Tenderloin' to your netflix que:
http://www.tenderloinmovie.com/ (http://www.tenderloinmovie.com/)
Then be on the look out for the release of 'War Flowers'. Watch the trailer here:
http://www.facebook.com/unitystudios (http://www.facebook.com/unitystudios)
Crowbar is the ratty dude that gets shot about midway through the trailer. :D
For those of you who haven't met Crowbar or are unaware of his accident just know that he is great guy who went through absolute hell after a motorcycle wreck. He came out the other side with his great attitude in tact. The old board really rallied for the guy. It was cool to see.
My personal favorite memory of that whole time was visiting him in the hospital (sometime after the third surgery on his leg [roll] ) and watching a bumbling nurse trying to clean his wound. Eventually he sat up (not easy for him at the time) grabbed the gauze from the nurse and basically ordered her out of the room. He proceeded to clean the wound himself. Awesome. [laugh]
We are all very proud of you man! Keep up the good work!
Cheers.

+1 I started lurking right afterwards. It was one of the things that sold me on the community which eventually sold me on my transition to ducs.
Awesome seeing you about this place. Best of luck and we'll surely be netflixing (Did I just make up a verb?) your movies.
Cheers!

I was sold on this community from the get go. An amazing conglomeration of outstanding people who all take care of each other, over something that brings us all together - a little Italian bike. =)
Cool, great to see you back and doing awesome it appears. [thumbsup]
I'm going to stop sucking my thumb and crying in the corner because I don't have any jobs/projects at the moment.
Thanks for sharing! I'm sure you're not looking for this but you're getting it anyway: [bow_down]
[clap] [bow_down]
Nice update crowbar.

that bike reminds me of my old Kuwahara with Zee rims...sometimes I miss BMX bikes...
glad you are well and have overcome the screwballs that seem to permantly derail most other people.
Hi!
Kurt, I am sooo proud of you! Glad to see you are doing so well!
I so remember you just telling me silly stories and making laugh at the zeitgeist. You're a good guy who deserves everything you have.
We miss hanging out with you. You have a standing invitation to visit Santa Barbara whenever you'd like. :)
Melissa
We had a patient in therapy last month who recently lost his leg in an m/c accident too. It made me think of you and now..here you are!!
AWESOME!! [thumbsup]
That was a cool clip!
Very happy for you.
It has been a long way back.
Stay healthy .
Dolph :)
We never met as I came into the picture after your accident, but the MOB gang always speak highly of you at the 'geist meetups. [beer]
Best wishes and thanks for the inspiration! [thumbsup]
Dude, that was rad.

I remember a certain someone (Kurt) rallying up a bunch of money when another MOB member (me) got his car towed at a Zeitgeist night. ;) [beer]
Awesome. I walked into the bar after seeing my car going down the street, in tow, and i was greeted with a fistfull of cash. Kurt went around and rallied a bunch of cash from the other MOB members and bar patrons. ;D
Kurt, I am in awe... :o
Very glad to hear from you again.

Glad to see everyone is doing well.
I put on my CROWBAR tshirt the other day and was wondering how you were doing. Thanks for posting. You are looking great!! [bow_down]
That's freaking awesome, Kurt. You're the man.
Didn't you make a video about how you rigged up your Duc so you could ride it again?

Thanks all, you are great!!!! I'm doing the best I can and hopefully it will turn into really productive life!!! Thanks to all of you.
I don't think I made a video of how I did it, even thought I did make the ride workable for me. I am redoing it though so its far far better, when I get it done I'll post up photos.
I guess I was thinking of this video From TOB
Crowbar (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YAFApU-MPYY#normal)
Holy Cow. I forgot all about that one. That was from Kaveh. He helped me out big time!!!

Thanks for the update, Kurt.
I think I may share your video with a friend who is currently in school to become a prosthetist (he was born with out one of his lower legs).
