Very cool. I joined up on TOB just a few days before your accident, so I never got a chance to 'meet' you, but I watched all the efforts around helping you post. Good to see you prospering

Also, Crowbar is being modest. He's not one to ring his own bell, so I'll ring it for him. He's been up to a bit more than finding his BMX roots since his crash.

First thing you gotta do is add 'Tenderloin' to your netflix que:
http://www.tenderloinmovie.com/

Then be on the look out for the release of 'War Flowers'. Watch the trailer here:

Crowbar is the ratty dude that gets shot about midway through the trailer.   :D

For those of you who haven't met Crowbar or are unaware of his accident just know that he is great guy who went through absolute hell after a motorcycle wreck. He came out the other side with his great attitude in tact. The old board really rallied for the guy. It was cool to see.

My personal favorite memory of that whole time was visiting him in the hospital (sometime after the third surgery on his leg  [roll] ) and watching a bumbling nurse trying to clean his wound. Eventually he sat up (not easy for him at the time) grabbed the gauze from the nurse and basically ordered her out of the room. He proceeded to clean the wound himself. Awesome.  [laugh]

We are all very proud of you man! Keep up the good work!

Cheers.

+1 I started lurking right afterwards. It was one of the things that sold me on the community which eventually sold me on my transition to ducs.

Awesome seeing you about this place. Best of luck and we'll surely be netflixing (Did I just make up a verb?) your movies.

Cheers!

I was sold on this community from the get go. An amazing conglomeration of outstanding people who all take care of each other, over something that brings us all together - a little Italian bike. =)

I'm going to stop sucking my thumb and crying in the corner because I don't have any jobs/projects at the moment.

Thanks for sharing!   I'm sure you're not looking for this but you're getting it anyway:    [bow_down]

Hi!

Kurt, I am sooo proud of you! Glad to see you are doing so well!

I so remember you just telling me silly stories and making laugh at the zeitgeist. You're  a good guy who deserves everything you have.

We miss hanging out with you. You have a standing invitation to visit Santa Barbara whenever you'd like.  :)
