Yes those goats will stand there and sleep. They do the same thing high up in the mountains so that they can rest without worry of predators. Now they will be screwed if the eagles start getting bigger.
We used to own goats and goats do shit like that just to do shit like that.

I wish I could find this one vid I saw where eagles would pick up mountain goats and throw them off a cliff as a method of hunting. It was insane.

There was an episode of Life that had some goats on it (I believe they were in Afghanistan or somewhere near there) that would climb ridiculous cliffs to avoid the foxes that were stalking them. It was really amazing.
That whole series was really amazing for the most part, though I could've done without Oprah as the narrator.
