I have read about motorcycle groups organizing to help peacefully buffer the picketers from the actual funeral. (sorry for the swearing, Michael, but it angers me greatly) I dislike saying someone is "crazy" unless I know for a fact that they are clinically bonkers, because I think that excuses their behavior and it relinquishes them from responsibility. AFAIK, Fred Phelps is not crazy. Violators would face a misdemeanor charge.

I originally signed up to go with them and join the buffer between the funeral and the would-be protesters, but I started getting sick (head cold) yesterday and today I can barely function.
