If you think about it, a low-side, heck even a high-side, wouldn't hurt "as much" in the snow...  [laugh]

Personally I am sick of this shit. >:( How do folks up north/east/mid-west/etc. put up with this crap for months on end? One of the reasons I still live in this God forsaken town is that we normally don't have to put up with this. Maybe a day or two a year but how do others deal with it for months? It would depress the hell out of me to stare at my pickled motorcycle in the basement for a third of the year. I heard we may even see some more crap next week! I'm blaming the Steelers and Packers for bringing all of this to town! [bang]

To my fellow dog lover/owners: we have two large rescue mutts... small side yard... can't seem to keep up with the, uh, "maintenance".  Called the folks at DoodyCalls (yuk, yuk) - $15/weekly service for two dogs and problem solved.  It is SO worth $15 a week to me not to have to get out there and scoop poop.... and of course if you miss a week... well, you know.

Just another helpful suggestion from your brother Ducatisi.  (Ducatista?)

I think it's harder on us sinice the only way around the urban sprawl is via car.  We have no subway here and what public transportation we do have is currently frozen.  Places that deal with this junk for so much of the year are better equiped to handle it.  I was unfortunate enough to live in CT for one winter with a 1991 Ford Ranger and I was able to get around with that thing the day after major snow storms.  The amount of salt layed down is crazy.

That said, yes, this sucks.   [bang]

Well the one place that is least prepared to deal with this mess is certainly my closet.  I don't even own a "coat."

I do now.  Hell, what's the point of being independently wealthy if ya gotta clean up dog poop?  sheesh.

I was.  I improvised a set of tire "chains" out of 3/8" rope woven/knotted to make a XXXXXX pattern.

It worked pretty good! (yes, I have pictures  ;D )

Snow roostertails?  Or was this for ice traction?

It was for the snow.
The ice underneath ...was a problem.

I'm looking to make some shallow paddle/studded tires to help keep myself off the ground.
Me and Planet Earth got to hang out a few times last week.   :P

These should be posted or bullshit should be called.  Not saying that you're lying...  there's a difference...  for example, RonR saying he could push start a 1098, now that's bullshit...

I push started my 695 in 2nd gear. I don't know if this
relates though.
