I was.  I improvised a set of tire "chains" out of 3/8" rope woven/knotted to make a XXXXXX pattern.

It worked pretty good! (yes, I have pictures  Grin )

It was for the snow.
The ice underneath ...was a problem.

I'm looking to make some shallow paddle/studded tires to help keep myself off the ground.
Me and Planet Earth got to hang out a few times last week.   Tongue
