Anyone have any experience with ECU Unleashed? Any significant improvements I should expect if I go with it?
Website only shows Yamaha R* applications?

Not sure exactly what they offer but they show the Magneti Marelli IAW 5AM for every bike. So if there replacing a Siemins or Mitsubishi ECU you are getting a much better ECU so there will be improvements. I never heard of them but a call to one of there tuning centers is in order.

well yeah that's the thing. A buddy of mine part-owns a shop and he's asking if I'm interested. Seems like a lot of cash to drop on my 620 (altho I'm not sure what the buddy-price is going to be).

haha. Yeah I'll just dip into my kids' college savings to reflash my ECU.
hmm.. he's guessing cost price would be in the 350-400 range. Nothing firm yet, but I don't think I can justify that.
Seems a bit steep if it's just a reflash.

yeah I don't know what all is included. I'm waiting to hear the price and then find out what's included.

No, they don`t. Seems like the correct ECU`s to me,
except the 1993-99 (!) & 2000-02 M900.
But I really wonder how they do the P8.
AFAIK, you have to remove the chip & burn a new hex/bin file w a chipburner onto the chip.
It is not flashed as f e 1,5 & 1,6.
For reference on price we reflash for $249... that is kind of the standard at the moment it seems.

thanks. I appreciate the reference point.
I'm having mine reflashed by Houston Superbikes. I've read good things on this board about them and I am confident that $250 wil get me what I am looking for. I'd find it hard to believe that any more hp is obtainable with out any engine work.
finally got back to me.
The retail price is $549. My price would be less than that, his cost, but still more than $250.
He says there's no tuning to do, just flash and go, which doesn't make sense to me.
got more info.
when reflashed they match the new settings with a map to match your intake/exhaust/preferred idle speed, etc etc.
apparently my monsters use a marelli 15M... news to me.
