That was a stock Panigale that they slapped some CF on. The RS13 is the racing version from Corse.

Don't say that around Tigre...those WSBK spec forks and umpteen instruments he put on there to measure every parameter are far more than just plastics :)

He could have just bought an RS13.

By the time he finishes with his current Panigale, it'll probably cost more than the RS13.

So's the carbon fiber that goes under them...oh, and the superbike forks.

Those don't look like WSBK-spec forks to me...and the description just sounds like he put cartridges in them (standard fast guy mod). Not cheap of course, but not on the level of new WSBK forks.

The picture there has the stock forks. He had the SBK forks on his 1198 until the end of this racing season, but I think he's going to put them on the 1199.

Gotcha.

Has he had a chance to ride the 1199 yet? Any word on the comparison to the 1198 from him? The guys I've talked to really like how easily the 1199 transitions compared to the 1198, but getting the suspension correctly set has been challenging...probably just because there isn't a baseline for the bike yet.

Last I talked to him, he was testing the 1199 at track days and in warm-ups...in fact, he even crashed it once :) I didn't get into much detail about performance...

You don't get trophies and wimminz from lighting money on fire.

Then again, you don't get wimminz from racing.

Fixed:

Then again, you don't get wimminz from club-level racing.
