Post by: duccarlos on October 14, 2012, 05:01:41 AM Another boring one. Once Dani took over in the front, Butter Boy decided to play it safe the rest of the way. I see a pattern emerging. Lorenzo pulls into the lead the first few laps then when he realizes that he can cruise into 2nd, he let's Pedrosa have his glory.
I feel sorry for Cal. Apparently he was aware of the gas issue, but got so caught up duking it out with Bautista that he forgot. Whoops. The rest of behind them the only other "battle" was Nicky just inking out Nakasuga to the line. Title: Re: 2012 MotoGP Round 15 - Motegi (Spoilers!) Post by: ducpainter on October 14, 2012, 05:14:13 AM What's Cal supposed to do...
cruise for 4th? Title: Re: 2012 MotoGP Round 15 - Motegi (Spoilers!) Post by: duccarlos on October 14, 2012, 05:40:10 AM I would rather watch Cal running out of gas after "rubbing" with Bautista than watching Lorenzo cruise it in for 2nd.

Google mid pack race filler: see Ducati. [bang] Damn, sure hope they find a miracle by next season. Tired of the Honda/Yamaha series. Hopefully someday Kwakers and Suzook will join the fray again. Post by: Jester on October 14, 2012, 05:36:01 PM Feeling even worse for Dani. The dude is on a mission and it probably won't matter. The last few races would have been interesting ( still might be ), had the point gap been sitting at under 10 points. I'd like to see Jorge and Dani go after it with everything on the line. As it stands, Jorge can just relent and let him go.
Maybe Stoner will up the pace a bit and help Dani out as his fitness improves. Title: Re: 2012 MotoGP Round 15 - Motegi (Spoilers!) Post by: ab on October 14, 2012, 05:59:25 PM Yes really bummer for Cal running out of fuel so close. Good job Dani boy. Hope Stoner recovery goes well and he gets a win next. So last time was Hayden to bang the wall on run off and now Ben.
Title: Re: 2012 MotoGP Round 15 - Motegi (Spoilers!) Post by: fastwin on October 14, 2012, 06:08:52 PM I'm sure you're right about the seeing the big boy bikes race live. But the expense and traffic hassle (which Austin has on a good day! [roll]) may keep me away. Have some friends that live in Austin (dove hunting buddies) that want to take in the race but I'd still need to shack up at a motel... which adds mo' $$.
I'm a little lack luster about the whole deal but maybe my friends can talk me into it. It would be nice to see some prototype GP bikes race before it goes CRT/2 wheeled NASCAR. [bang] Title: Re: 2012 MotoGP Round 15 - Motegi (Spoilers!) Post by: fastwin on October 14, 2012, 08:33:22 PM OK, just watched the race on my dvr. Is it just me but I swear Lorenzo just said screw it and let Pedrobot by and took the lazy route... 2nd place is good enough for the title run and I'll let "junior" win at his company's home track. Maybe Dani will buy Jorge and his team dinner for throwing the race. [roll]
