Feeling even worse for Dani.  The dude is on a mission and it probably won't matter.  The last few races would have been interesting ( still might be ), had the point gap been sitting at under 10 points.  I'd like to see Jorge and Dani go after it with everything on the line.  As it stands, Jorge can just relent and let him go.

Maybe Stoner will up the pace a bit and help Dani out as his fitness improves.

Yes really bummer for Cal running out of fuel so close.  Good job Dani boy.  Hope Stoner recovery goes well and he gets a win next.  So last time was Hayden to bang the wall on run off and now Ben.

I'm sure you're right about the seeing the big boy bikes race live. But the expense and traffic hassle (which Austin has on a good day! Roll Eyes) may keep me away. Have some friends that live in Austin (dove hunting buddies) that want to take in the race but I'd still need to shack up at a motel... which adds mo' $$.

I'm a little lack luster about the whole deal but maybe my friends can talk me into it. It would be nice to see some prototype GP bikes race before it goes CRT/2 wheeled NASCAR. bang head

OK, just watched the race on my dvr. Is it just me but I swear Lorenzo just said screw it and let Pedrobot by and took the lazy route... 2nd place is good enough for the title run and I'll let "junior" win at his company's home track. Maybe Dani will buy Jorge and his team dinner for throwing the race. Roll Eyes

I'll pay for your tickets, you have to see these bikes in person. It'll make you a believer.  Wink

Gas restrictions are moronic in a prototype racing series....oh, wait, I forgot, it's to reduce costs.... Tongue

Didn't he have to pay for his own brake pads earlier in the year?

It's not the first time this year.

I forget which track it was, but both Tech 3 bikes ran out on the cool down lap.

Yamaha is running 800 electronics on them and it just doesn't work as well.

fwiw, george claims there was no staying with dani  http://www.crash.net/motogp/news/185104/1/lorenzo_it_was_impossible.html

but all he's gotta do the rest of the year is finish 2nd or 3rd, so..  yawn.

full credit to pedro though.  can't do more than what he's doing.

Maybe Dani boy should push Jorge real hard in the early stages of a race to where Jorge might crash out. Not that I openly wish crashing on anyone but that would make the points fight very interesting. Nah, I think Jorge knows he has a points lock and wouldn't take the chance. How about a mechanical?

Maybe if they change the numbers on the two Yammi's in the garage.

Ben has had more than his share of mechanicals.
