Title: GBRacing covers & reverse shift Post by: IdZer0 on May 18, 2016, 01:22:58 AM Hi,
So I just recently decide to try out reverse shift and now I bought GBRacing engine protection but it turns out you can't get the shift lever at the right angle (90° vs the rod) once the protection is in place. Do you think this angle is still OK: (http://gallery.ducati.org/image_db/idzer0/25619.jpg) Title: Re: GBRacing covers & reverse shift Post by: Mhanis on May 18, 2016, 02:42:43 AM Does it work?

If it doesn't quite work, modify the cover? Title: Re: GBRacing covers & reverse shift Post by: NAKID on May 18, 2016, 10:40:31 AM Try it. If it doesn't quite work, modify the cover? It's not the cover. Looks like if he adjusts it more the linkage will hit the frame. Title: Re: GBRacing covers & reverse shift Post by: stopintime on May 18, 2016, 11:01:39 AM It's not the cover. Looks like if he adjusts it more the linkage will hit the frame. That might be so, but the cover was the issue? Title: Re: GBRacing covers & reverse shift Post by: NAKID on May 18, 2016, 11:32:14 AM That might be so, but the cover was the issue? I see what you're saying now. Another possible solution is going with a dedicated reverse shifter. Eliminate the slop of the linkage altogether. |
