Hi,

So I just recently decide to try out reverse shift and now I bought GBRacing engine protection but it turns out you can't get the shift lever at the right angle (90° vs the rod) once the protection is in place. Do you think this angle is still OK:

I haven't tried riding it yet, it seems to work. I'm worried about mis-shifts etc. specially at the track.

Try it.

If it doesn't quite work, modify the cover?

It's not the cover. Looks like if he adjusts it more the linkage will hit the frame.

That might be so, but the cover was the issue?

I see what you're saying now.

Another possible solution is going with a dedicated reverse shifter. Eliminate the slop of the linkage altogether.
