This guy must be pickled.

We had a breathalyzer in college and the highest BAC I ever blew was a .22
the guy runs in the Top Alcohol Funny Car class.
he's a pro
I'd be willing to bet that I've had mine up around there before.
I don't think I did any driving though.
impressive, but not as impressive as this, from Oregon. Yay for Oregon.

.72
There's a rumor of a .90 online, but I couldn't find a good reference.
.90???? That is crazy! 90% of the "blood" or rather the fluids that your blood cells were swimming is was alcohol?
No, 0.90 percent. Still well past "lethal", which is around 0.50 percent.

Maybe that proves that .08 is too low a limit. They should raise it to .12 [drink]

.90 is 90%
lethal cannot be 1/2 of 1 percent.... since .08 or 8% is the DUI limit. Pretty sure the cops don't condone driving when dead!

No.
The legal limit is not .08.
The legal limit is .08%.
People just leave off the "percent" when they refer to a "point oh eight".

They make mini handheld breathalizers but i cant find one at a shop taht i can purchase that will show .01 places. its all .01 up to .08 then it flashes OVER LIM.
Im pretty sure i routinely do .3, and .4 if i tried really hard. but it would have to be straight beer, straight vodka, or straight rum

You probably shouldn't drink, if you think so. :P
But, seriously, Ramses is right. And so am I. The confusion is that people (me included) indeed leave off the %, and the leading zero, for that matter, from 0.08%.

One half of one percent of your blood being ethanol will indeed kill you. Not always, as the previous examples point out, but often.

I use the term to describe Pakhan's research abilities, and not to describe the crazed and lucky Bulgarian senior citizen referenced.
