From a Ducati club on FB: "Today March 5, 2023 marks 30 years since the band's first Ducati Monster ran. On March 5, 1993 the first monster was born. The first monster with frame number 000001 was a red 904cc. It was gifted to the then F1 world champion Ayrton Senna. Desmoclub fiandre don't let this birthday pass by. Serial # 000000 was the prototype he built and presented to management for approval. It had CNC’d rearsets, a yellow 888 suspension hoop, oil cooler below the Horz head (like an SS) and many other subtle differences.
