"Just to let you guys know... I opened the TT Roadhouse nearly 13 years ago, it's like an English/Irish type pub. But with a vintage race-bike motif, ie: the Isle of Man TT races. We've got loads of imported beer, both on draught (nine tap handles) and in bottles (about 40 different bottled beers). And a jukebox that has won many awards in local publications. Also the Pub itself has won many accolades both locally and nationally ie: Best pub in Az., and was listed among the top 50 bars in the country by a national magazine. For entertainment we regularly show motorcycle DVDs of all types ,such as Moto-GP races, Moto-X, Trails, TT races & Stunt videos. We do have a several great TT vids, incuding a bunch of on bike stuff. I'm telling you all this, because I really think you guys would dig it!

P.S. Food is no problem, I have always ecouraged customers to bring food, or have it delivered. We have loads of menus from places that regularly deliver there, like pizza, or chinese, etc..

BTW- The TT Roadhouse is located at 2915 North 68th Street in Scottsdale. 68th street is just four blocks west of Scottsdale Road. The pub is on 68th, just north of Thomas, on the East side of 68th. And the Phone number there is (480)-947-8723."

Kentucky!  Thanks for asking....It was really nice.  My first stop after picking up the rental mini-van in Louisville....A Ducati shop of course!  Wanted to check out Commonwealth Motorcycles.  it was a very nice shop with Ducati, Triumph and KTM on the mezzanine.  Lot's of trick/high-end service work being done in the shop.  Only complaint, no t-shirts!

Just postin' up a feeler for bike night at the ol' TT Roadhouse this Tues!  I can't get there 'til about 9pm unfortuantely, but I'll have in hand a DVD copy of The Italian Machine, a short 30 min film done in the early 70's about a few moto junkies lusting after a 900 Desmo Supersport.....Hopefuly we'll be able to talke them into letting us view it with sound.

Hmmm.  Good point Charles.  I was thinking of going for a little bit, to tell you guys about my most recent adventures in travel, drinking, and women, but I have a bunch of stuff to do so may sit this one out. 

How about this - If you go, I'll go.  Won't be drinking (see elusion to most recent adventures above). Can't get out there 'til about 9 as usual these days.  Probably wear all black as to be more inconspicuous.

I was also thinking of possibly going to Pavillions this Saturday instead of TT as my evening motorbike outing. Decision, decisions.

I still want to make it up to the pavillions of Saturday. I didn't make it to TT because I got a ticket on the way over for my license plate. I took that as a sign to just turn around a hang out at the house. I don't know what should be a good plan. Maybe meet up for coffee somewhere first? The earliest I can probably make it out is 5:00 or so.

When does everyone usually show up?

Most of the regulars get there between 8:30 and 9:30.  Some stay for 30 minutes, some stay for 3 hours.  They do have soda.  And water.  And hot dogs....all the toppings you want for $3.  [thumbsup]

Hey - a coffee crawl with food and a place to do homework and I might be able to make a bike night with kid in tow!

I like TT Roadhouse. I love the old English pub look and Chris is a really cool bartender, but it seems like every time we go there I overhear people saying, "Why do we cram ourselves in this corner with music so loud we can't hear ourselves talk?"

I don't drink, Ryan doesn't drink, Dietrich has his youngin', it's kind of awkward to bring in food ...

I am up for switching to a coffee place... especially with it cooling off weather wise.

FYI - It's awlays cool to bring in food, and they even have menu's of all the surrounding places that will deliver to the TT or that you can easily walk to grab something. 

That said, I'm not opposed to another spot for some meet-ups....you'll still likely find me at TT at some point on Tuesdays whenever I can make it though.  Start a new thread for suggested spots?  Or maybe to collect known other bike nights around town...there are several....

I've never heard anyone say that. The TT Roadhouse is great because of the loud music, tight quarters and overall feel. It is divey, cafe racer themed bar that plays something other than top 40 on the old jukebox. I would have killed to have a place like this back home.

Coffee shops are great, and the coffee crawl will be great. But, it's no replacement for the TT.

The food thing isn't a big deal, and I've brought food there before. When I say awkward I mean I felt stupid being the only one in the building eating a burrito.

Anyway, I don't think anyone is suggesting we ditch TT altogether, but instead just mix it up a little.

I am definately not saying ditch TT... I really like that place.  You can get a pint, a soda, or a water... they don't care and will make sure you always have something to drink.  I am thankful that it is that far away from my house as I would be there several nights a week if it were closer... my kind of hangout.

I support a coffee shop so that Dietrich can bring his daughter along and she can study. 

Just an FYI, I am not able to make Tues nights for several weeks.  Again, not like you all can't go without me...but ee are still looking for bike night alternatives for Wed or Thurs nights.  If anyone has any ideas post 'em up in the other thread...

Sorry I couldn't make it last night. I needed to bleed my rear brake line, which I did successfully, but when I went to put the tire back on it wasn't rolling very well -- it was very stiff, like the brake was locked on it, but I know it wasn't that.

Anyway, it was too much to fix and make it in time, so maybe next week!

(Update: one of the brake pads wasn't set right and was wedging between the edge of the caliper and the disc. It's fixed now.)

We met up at TT, as usual, forgetting that it's Bike Week.

I got there first to be greeted by a barrage of "That girl looks like she knows what she's doing" (as I was backing my bike up to park) and a few "Hey Little Lady" comments and "Looks like you've done that before" from an on-looker.

It was standing room only, elbow to ass with a bunch of 1% wannabes.
Kip pulled up and parked in a back corner of the driveway. We walked back to my bike in front to wait for other friends.
As we stood there, some biker was trying to leave, and he knocked his bike over in the row into another bike.
After a few people helped him right the bikes, he pulled away and rode off. Great.
Kip moved his bike up with mine.
Our little group gathered and we decided to go elsewhere.

Elsewhere turned out to be a great little bar called Shadys (http://www.yelp.com/biz/shadys-phoenix-2)
So, we got to see some bikes (complete with radios and purple LEDs!), go for a ride, and hang out.

I'll rephrase: Is anyone not going to TT on Tuesday?

I don't know if I'll be able to go on Tuesday, but if I do I just want to know where everyone -- anyone reading this ... the guys and gals who normally go to TT on Tuesday -- will be.

I'm not trying to make a suggestion; I'm just wondering what the plan is. Like I tell my wife, "Hey, I just do what I'm told."

It's all good.  I'm not sure who's going where.  TT bike night is ongoing.  I know the ACR meetup has the Duce posted and I may go check that out for a bite to eat and end up at TT.  Not sure.  Most of the guys who go to TT don't read the forums...they either just show up or are rounded up with an email/text campaign.  :)     

What is ACR?  The Duce looks cool and centrally locarted..on Central.  [cheeky]  Maybe go there..probably not tomorrow though.  I've been working everynight after work lately (gots bike bling to pay for while I can still spend $$ on my Ducs and not a baby) so this week is a no go on either one.   

We'll probably be there tonight (TT Roadhouse, that is). I'll see how much sleep I get when I get home this AM.  [moto]

Oh, I'll ride it like I always do...when and where I feel like.  Check out a bike week event and you'll understand. :)  They're not all bad, just depends on your mood.  I've been to several events around the valley and had a good time at most.
