We met up at TT, as usual, forgetting that it's Bike Week.
I got there first to be greeted by a barrage of "That girl looks like she knows what she's doing" (as I was backing my bike up to park) and a few "Hey Little Lady" comments and "Looks like you've done that before" from an on-looker.
I wonder if the guys get so many remarks when they are parking their bike?
It was standing room only, elbow to ass with a bunch of 1% wannabes.
Kip pulled up and parked in a back corner of the driveway. We walked back to my bike in front to wait for other friends.
As we stood there, some biker was trying to leave, and he knocked his bike over in the row into another bike.
After a few people helped him right the bikes, he pulled away and rode off. Great.
Kip moved his bike up with mine.
Our little group gathered and we decided to go elsewhere.
Elsewhere turned out to be a great little bar called
ShadysSo, we got to see some bikes (complete with radios and purple LEDs!), go for a ride, and hang out.
Good times!
