Warming is perspective.  I was transporting a bus, had my window open enjoying the nice fall air...  When my ride (my fiancée) picked me up, she had the windows up, heater on and plopping down in the seat was like plopping down into the Sahara at noon ~

well Monday I rode to work and it was a freakin nut shattering 19F. Thank god for heated gloves. The rest of the week
has been nice, sunny, and in the low 30s to mid 40s. Ah fall in the Pac Northwest.

this like 70 right now in NYC. really really perfect for a ride except it takes too damn long to get out of here. and i cant find any open roads to test out mah nu RB3!!!!

It's going to be 85 degrees F today.  I think I'll ride before lunch b/c when it gets hotter, I'll have to revert back to my summer jacket.  It's just another beautiful day in Northern California.  [moto]

Its a nice 50 something here in the Paciffic NW with clear skys so far today, and I dislocated my kneecap two days ago and won't be riding for at least a week. Looks like i get to miss the last few good days of riding this fall. Soon it will be nothing but winter gear and rainstorms for me for about five monthes.

Here in the mountains of Central Arizona, we had a hard freeze down into the low 20s a week ago that killed off the last remnants of the summer garden (though the kale & collards are still doing great, much to our 13 year old's disgust) and may have done fatal damage to the fig tree I was hoping to baby through the winter. 

Now, it's a beautiful 78 degrees and I'm just back from a spin on the ST2 around the Skull Valley/White Spar loop -- 55 miles of fast sweepers, tight-twisty canyon & stunning vistas everywhere you look. Kinda takes some of the sting out of the fig tree debacle...

50 now. chilly but still manageable. today was very windy. Also, the pat 3 weeks ahve been littered with solar flares that keep knocking out my internet.  stupid sun.
