at the age of 30, I was born in 1980, I kind of remember the old ny.. either from being out in the streets while a youngster or from the stories my gangsta ass dad would tell..  I'm lucky enough that noone of those sorts bother me..  the bucket drum guy I'm actually cool with..  never encountered a mime on my many trips down in the seaport.. I just moved about 7 blocks far frome it too.. always lived in bk..  I doubt I would let one punk me in a crowd..

I don't get stressed over many things except stupidity.  now for some reason I witness more then 40% of the populous are plain dumbasses..  I can't stand it..  I gotta start carrying around a taser..

Witnessed a new one today, guy comes on the subway car holding books and starts saying,"I'm not begging for money, handing out "I'm deaf" cards etc etc etc. I'm an author and I wrote a book" then goes into his story of going to prison and coming out making his life better, starting a publishing company etc etc etc.. I just told him as getting off the train I'll wait for the movie.
1st time I've seen the author schtick probably be a flood of them now to have to ignore.

Holy thread resurrection.

(I do love that story though.  It's been a while since I've read it.)

i cant stand beggars. We had one that stood on the corner at my college everyday before class started. He got a lot of hate and a lot of things thrown at him. i dont think begging to a bunch of broke college kids is a good idea on his part. Funny thing was though on weekends you could find him begging 15 miles across town at walmart

the force of the slap was not commensurate with his tumble...

a closed fist roundhouse punch would have gotten him falling like that but an open handed slap?...nah...

well, we are talking about a mime.
