how much do we need to worry about the tings in our pockets?  Will a antenna on the phone puncture me when in a crash?  Will dogtags puncture if flipped at the right angle?

something on the outside sounds safer (unless you macadam surf it off) or soft and folded (as long as it's waterproof).

we also give the info to someone else at the track, but that's not foolproof.

"If you are unconscience, airway, breathing and circulation take precedent to wasting time looking for useless info.  We don't need to know your blood type or who to call.  We would be busy trying to keep you alive or get you alive again."   [thumbsup]  sounds like we worry for nothing......

My keys didn't puncture my leg in my crash. The Ducati business card holder in my other pocket did however conform to the shape of my thigh...

Mother

I don't agree with that comment laura.

if you have pertinent medical info, we need to know it. as well as who you are.

so even though ABC's do take precident, someone is still going to look for ID and any medical info we can find

Mother, you looking out for one of your subjects?    [laugh]

zltfl - thanks for bringing up the discussion.

I realized that since I have new riding gear, I don't take my wallet on rides.  (too bulky)  just carried money, drivers license and insurance info.  Totally blanked on the medical card.

I really like the bracelet.  does it come in pink?

And in nursing, which is why I'll be going part-time as a nurse soon and will start working more as a respiratory therapist until I figure out what my next career is gonna be.   I'm tired of patient (family) satisfaction surverys being more important than healing people.  dragging myself away from the soapbox
