mine is cracked at the kickstand.. bought the bike for a song with the crack.. its already been welded once.. and I tried to JB weld it one last time.. but its going to need to be replace.. so if someone could let me know what part I need and the best place to get it.. i would much appreciate it..

if its a beater bike, or you just dont really care much about it, id just make a kick stand plate and utlize that extra threaded hole. (well, i had one on my 95 900, not sure if your engine case has that extra threaded hole thats unused)

the more i look into it.. it might just be easier to buy a used motor... i dont have access to a bearing press any more..

I've got an '01 M750 short-case (no pistons, barrels, heads) without side covers with 11,500 miles on it if you're interested.  You would have to put your parts on it so new gaskets and such.  Motor was out of a wreck and it ran afterwards.  It has the same 12mm engine mounting bolts but you would have to swap your timing gears to pick-up the EFI sensor.

$250 + crating & shipping from 91335 zip if you're interested.  I also have a bill of sale from the original owner.
Bike-less Portuguese immigrant enjoying life.

Nobody has mentioned and you might have figured it out but...

Don't do kick stand turns with a monster. It's not a good idea.
ErkZ NOT in SLO w/ his '95 m900!
The end is in sight! Gotta buckle down and get to work!
