Hi, Ive had my M600 for a few years now and whist I often lust over the newer and bigger models, I just cant bring myself to part with it.  So! Ive decided to do a few mods... I would like to fit an oil cooler to it, but Im not sure which oil coolers from the other Monsters would be suitable, there is one available to me from a 750 model, but again I m not sure if it would fit.  Can anyone offer any guidance?  Thanks.

It will fit.

You may need some fittings for the cases.

I'm going to move this to acc&mods...

The guys there will point you in the right direction.

if you're going to piece it together, you'll need a cooler (IIRC all of the 2V OEM mount the same), valve cover w/the threaded extensions to fit the cooler, lines, and that bypass valve thing that mounts inline between the engine and your oil filter.

DP sells kits, which save you alot of legwork, but is pricey.  the install itself is quite easy  [thumbsup]

I did the same for my 620

H-Competition is working on a high quality oil cooler kit for the early monsters.
The one we received for the M696 had titanium mounts....

^^^  That's well and good, but where's the bypass flapper valve that goes between the engine case and the double-ended stud which mounts the oil fitler?
