Ummm, what does most of the Japanese's diet consist of? Fish. Rice.

Fixed for you.

BTW, if you want omega-3 EFAs without the risk of mercury, there are vegetarian sources including flax seed and walnuts.

Also understand that your "Hunger Pangs" may actually be thirst. I would first try a nice big glass of water and see how that helps your hunger...

+1 Most people are borderline dehydrated at any given time.
Woohoohoohoo! Two personal records! For breath holding and number of sharks shot in the face.

My parents didn't believe me when I told them that until they went to the doctor and were both told they were dehydrated.

As for the mercury fish thing, it is true that fish contains mercury, with oysters being the most dangerous to eat raw because they filter the shitty water. But the FDA only warns young/old people and pregnant/nursing mothers to restrict their fish intake.

PS Get a juicer that's easy to clean. You'll use it way more often. One that doesn't have a bunch of nooks and crannies that you can't get to.
I highly recommend taking a couple displays apart in a store and seeing how quick it is to assemble/clean etc.

What kinda juicer did you end up getting?
This is looking kinda appealing.   [thumbsup]
The world awaits.

Just start training for bicycle racing- you'll be lucky if you can eat enough during base season.

The easiest rule to follow is to eat things that are relatively unprocessed and tampered with (whole grain bread compared to white bread, as an example).  Just burn what you take in, and take in what you will burn.  Of course, different things burn differently, which is where the glycemic index comes in.  If you're breaking something down, make sure you take in the appropriate materials to repair and recover as quickly as possible.  I'm no nutritionist, however, and I'm lucky enough to not have to adhere too strictly to some of that adivce (yet).

I love frozen red grapes.  Pick them off the vine, then freeze them in a sandwich bag.  Great, healthy treat for a warm day.

I really like Metabolic Drive protein from Biotest in Colorado Springs.  For a chocolate fix, I take 1 pack of organic instant oats, 1 scoop chocolate protein and 1/2 pack of sugarfree/fat free pudding.  mix it all up with cold water.  its like a no bake cookie.

love frozen grapes too

oh and organic peanut butter (no sugar and crap added), and low carb tortillas.  yum
If you love your bike, set it free.
If it comes back to you, you've
probably high-sided.
