Anyone know the what the torque setting for the 12MM nuts should be tightened to when adding frame sliders?

Either use the spec provided with the sliders (if any), or use the same as the engine bolt you removed:

2V:  Engine mounting bolts                        40-45 Nm

4V:  Nut for engine-frame bolt  M12x1.5  60 *  GREASE B

The frame slider website says 80Nm which seems crazy tight.

Are you sure that's not a "not to exceed" spec?  I think that's what my frame slider instructions had.
