Still waiting....seems there is still a problem with the spacers. The brake will not fit the rotor this time. My mechanic is suppose to be getting in touch with Motowheels to find out what's up. If sollution comes soon he is going to make a custom spacer to get me on the road. Anyone else with BSTs run into problems with theirs?

DRKWNG

As I said before, the only problem I had was with the front wheel, and that was only because I was accidently shipped the wrong wheel.  And actually, I should say accidently shipped as BST had advertised that wheel as the correct fit for my bike.  The original rear wheel, for the SC, went on like greased butter and so did the front once I had all the 999 parts.

Well after reading the last couple posts... are you SURE they sent you the proper wheel?  :-\

My wheels went on with no problems...
Sold: 2007 S2R1000 for canyon carving and commuting - DP ECU, PCIII, BMC air filter with open box, Zard full exhaust, Race-tech fork internals, Ohlins steering damper, and a Penske 8987 triple clicker

2000 996XU (extra ugly) for track days - BST carbon wheels, Ohlins shock, reworked fork, FBF exhaust, and a bunch of megacycle rocker arms. The rest of it is junk - Hey, I'm just happy that it runs...

Sold: 2002 Aprilia RST1000 for touring - De-restricted airbox, Taylormade Racing exhaust

Yes.

I will know more next week. Everything at this point seems to be working good with an exception of the brake line. Had to order an new one due to the other melting internally. I will hopefully have  a solid explanation as to what the matter was when I pick the bike up.

I'm back on the road!  8)

It was a problem with the spacers. So all and all what I came out on top with the tires from the original mishap I broke even cash wise. Frankly IDK anymore. I'm just glad to be riding again!

Just took it for my first ride since I've gotten back. Could only go for about 20 mins, but third gear wheelies are fun! Second gear use to take a little effort to pull one and now it takes effort to keep it on the ground! I have to say I am very impressed with the overall better performance. I had no idea the wheels could improve it this much. Cannot wait to get out on the twisties tomorrow!  [thumbsup]

Glad you finally got everything resolved.  [thumbsup]
Woohoohoohoo! Two personal records! For breath holding and number of sharks shot in the face.

Glad this came to a happy resolution. We need a detailed ride report tomorrow - for those of us who may also go the BST route  [evil]
