Raising the front end by 15mm should be fine,
but you'll probably want to get an adjustable rear ride
height rod (if you don't have one already), and raise
the rear to compensate.

Is that ChChadder's old bike?!?  Sure sounds like it...

if you are talking about mine. No it's not. You are familiar with it though. It was paradisecity's bike and now mine for the last year or so.

From the pics, it looks like the fork doesn't widen till it gets half way down to the lower triple!?!?  ???

Why can't you just mount the clip-ons under the triple the way it is?  ???

Yeah.. supposed to be a gixxer fork. looked around at some replacement gsxr fork on ebay and they all widen about halfway between the triples.

I could do that. Just wanted to know my options if i felt that position was too low. That picture is gonna look muh different when Im done with it soon.

Ok.. clamps are mounted below the triple and they feel like a good rising position. Now have a porblem with the wiring.. the headlight bracket is in the way and I cant really get the wiring in place to get everything back on to the clip ons. Any ideas? other than  " change the bracket"

stopintime

Can you describe the issues in more detail? electrical/throttle/brakes/clutch/.....

I found that cutting the fairing tabs makes routing wires/cables/lines easier.  YMMV

Lowering the headlight helps even more.
