Autostrada Pilot

Like others have said, motorcycles for sale seem to dry up a bit over the winter, but they'll be back come spring.  However, they usually go for a little higher price in the spring as people get the itch to start riding.

Newly listed 2007 S2R 1000 .  I know it isn't a DSS, but it does sound like a great deal and it is in NC.

This 05 M1000S is not quite local for you, but it sure does look nice & has tasteful mods.  The mileage is a little high, but it wouldn't scare me if it has been serviced well.  If you don't find one for a long time and this one is still for sale, you might want to consider a road trip to NY when the weather warms up.

very nice looking and very very close to what i am looking for but 6500 is steep for that bike. If it had lower miles and no dents I would go 5500 to 6000 with no problem. I gre up in nY so Ieven would have a place to stay!!! I think the M1000s are the best monster EVER!!!

I agree the M1000s are awesome.  Keep your eye on this one.  It helps to have a few bikes in the back of your mind.  This bike's price may drop down some if it is still available in 6 months.

I bought my 05 M1000s for $5,500 if my memory is correct.  I think it was originally listed around $6,500.  It has some wear on it but that is what expect from a used bike.  The trade off is it had some nice mods I was glad were already done.  Here's mine.

Privateer

I had the same problem when I was shopping 3 years ago.  I got my license in november and it took until the end of april to find a deal I could live with.  Everything else was either a bike I didn't want, more miles than I wanted, or way more money than I wanted.

Some people confuse what something is worth, and what they value it at, I learned.
