I have looked for a monster for sale locally. I am in nC so I check craigslist for NC, SC, GA, and VA however there is nothing decent for sale. I have e-mailed about 5 Monsters and 5 superbikes but it seems like the owners never email me back...is there a scam going on?Huh? I know what bikes are usally scams but I e-mail ones that have  aphone # and personal e-mail...whats up?

Not local to you, but the price is right. Even with shipping.

I think a lot of people who are going to sell tend to wait until spring to list their bikes thinking they're more likely to get a better price when the weathers looking more friendly for casual riders.

+1, theres a huge dip in the amount of bikes for sale. Most people have just given up after posting for several weeks.

However, you may still have luck if you are looking in places that are a bit warmer.

I am in NY, willing to travel as south as Miami, and as far west as the Mississippi via greyhound/train (whatever is cheaper) and ride it back... You are defintely not going to find that many monsters/sbks for sale up north though.

Also...make sure your not looking at those scams....$1500 SBKs...not happening.
