My 1098 R is 363 lbs.dry.

Putting out between 175-180 rwhp .

99 lb.ft. of Torque, w, other than stock, Ti Exhaust and Race ECU , no other fancy aftermarket parts.

Have you actually weighed it, or are those Ducati's numbers?

Ducati also claims the new MTS1200s is 423 "dry", yet Cycle World weighed it at 475 lbs "dry". Seems the definition of dry varies quite a bit.  ;)

Ducati's numbers.

Although it feels very light when I push it around the garage.

I think Ducati finally converted to the same 'optimistic' weighing strategy as most everybody else.
Maybe they consider dry weight as shipping weight or something.
Quoting a weight without a battery seems pointless to me.

My S4 can weigh 270 lbs if I drop the motor out. Big deal.  [roll]

I consider 'dry' to be no fluids, specifically gas and engine/trans oil.
But all of the rest of the stuff is there.
Add gas and oil and ride away.
