Yeah.. its amazingly impractical.  1200 hp in a Lotus I think would be comparable to 500 hp in a DesmoRR..    Yes.. Would me amazingly cool to have.. but what tires in the world could actually connect that kind of power to the asphalt??  Throttle control you say??  Traction control??  You'd end up only utilizing half of the available power before it would be cut into by either a loss of traction, or the computer trying to stop a loss of traction.   HELL YES I'D ROCK ONE!
