If you really want to have fun take a BMW 135 shod with good snowtires ( in my case Blizak WS-70's) for a spin on hard backed snowy roads, remember to push the "DTC" button thus mellowing out the electronic nanny.      Living in Alaska I've got at least 3 more months of    driving left.

The wife drives a 335xi, it's almost boring on snowy roads, what fun is going around a corner without a little right foot induced oversteer after the apex.
