I am surprised there are very few monster books around. I am not talking about workshop manuals but general books about the Monster.

On Amazon there is the monster bible coming out mid year but having seen some of Falloons other books, its likely to be a collection of stats about the various models and engine sizes. A "spotters guide" if you like.

I did see one advertised by Marc Cook but that seems to have disappeared. Amazon says its out of print but I don't know if it ever made it that far.

Ducati also put out a call a while ago for owners to contribute photos but nothing seems to have come from that.

Anyone know of any others or some in the pipeline?

There's one i've been meaning to pick up, Modern Motorcycle Technology. Not sure if it has many things to do with the monster, but there is a 696 as the cover.

Not a book, but a pretty good article in RIDE mag from '08 going into history of the model - starts on pg 2, I think I got all of the pages...  obviously, doesn't cover last few model years...
