Rake/trail on a 696

The only spec I can find for the 696 is the rake at 24 deg. but no trail numbers. Does anybody know the rake & trail numbers ?

Thanks, I was looking for the trail numbers & it's the same 87mm & rake numbers the manual lists "steering head angle" at 22.8. So that doesn't sound like the rake number unless the triples do not have an off-set. Does anybody know if the 696 triples are off set ?

for sure they are offset. measure the center of the frame nut to the centerline of the fork centers

I thought of that except trying to get it accurate will be tough. Just so you understand I'm looking for the offset between the top & bottom triple (if there is one) as it's the angle of the forks not the steering head when talking rake & trail. I'm just curious as how the stock rake & trail compare to other sport bikes. If there is no offset on the triple then the 22.8 & 87mm puts it in a pretty good spot as you could change the geometry a fair amount in either direction without pushing the limits of what other bikes are set at.

Those are the numbers published by the manufacturer.

huh? the top adn  bottom triples are the same. they would be bored at an angle if not.

the offset is something like 30mm. I think the superbikes are like 25mm.
