ABS brakes

Does anyone know how to determine if a bike has ABS brakes installed? Does it look any different from the standard brakes? Are there sensors on the bike that you can use to distinguish that it has ABS?

I'm sure there's some type of an exciter ring on the rotors.

There is an impuls wheel on the left rotor's outside and on the rear rotor's inside. (Monster EVO)

Easiest way might be checking the fluid lines/hoses - they go from the master cylinders via the ABS unit/box and then down to the calipers.
On a non-ABS bike they will go direct from master to caliper.

If you're test riding it one dead giveaway should be an ABS light that comes on for a self-check and usually stays on until the bike moves and the system initializes. That's how it works on our 696, and how it worked on my old oilhead back in the 90s.

Another way is to go real fast and then stand on the brakes to see what happens.
