And the worst news of all...seems countless LSU fans were stuck in NO for HOURS after that game. Apparently, someone painted a 50 yd line in the middle of all of the roads leading away from the city and none of the Tigers could cross it. *rimshot*

sigh..as an auburn fan, im not liking either one of you twos today

I pulled for Auburn like a crazy man last year. I was over the moon when they won. I just think it looks so good for the state as a whole. If you believe all of the studies and reports, and "10 fattest" and "10 worst" lists, we have so very little to be proud of that football is just that muh more meaningful.

The first step to solving the problem is admitting that there IS a problem.

After one crappy year I now have absolutely no problems.  

You think OSU has 3 losing seasons in a row like Michigan?  You get lucky next year because we can't go the the conference championship game.  I fully expect Michigan to win the league. Enjoy it while it lasts man.  Enjoy it while it lasts, because after next year if you thought we dominated under Tressell you're going to hate what happens under Urban at the school he grew up loving and wants nothing more than to win lots of games and championships.  No more stupid Tressell ball and playing not to lose.  We're going to dominate on defense like always and run the score up on the rest of you with offenses that are light years ahead of the rest of the conference.

I do believe we probably deserved the bowl ban. And most fans think we should have opted out this year.  To me, we got the bowl ban next year (and Gene Smith was told we werent while looking for a coach) because we got Urban and the NCAA thought that losing Tress just to be replaced by a better coach was not much of a punishment. If I'm a Miami, Penn State, or South Carolina I'm scared because it looks like the NCAA really is putting the hammer down now.

I will say watch out for Illinois.  They got a hell of a coach and have always had good players.

Meh. Watching the Big10 this year in bowl games (all of them including the 2 that your team and my team played in) made me realize how unbelievably slow the Big10 is compared to the SEC and PAC12 teams.
I used to consider the conference's play style "inexorable" but in the SEC, even the linemen are running similar 40 times to running backs in the Big10.
That isn't to say there is no hope. Just to say that the SEC will continue to dominate things this way for several more years at least.

I completely agree.  I'm hoping guys like Meyer, Hoke and Boeckman can turn the conference around.  Really disappointed in Wisky.  They had a chance to make waves and just didn't show up.
