Hey.
Had the same problem yesterday. 4000km (about 2300miles). After i turned off the DTC, which was on level 2, it worked fine. Today i turned it back on and so far it is working. While it was happening to me it was raining...maybe water and italian electronics don't work together?
However, i also informed my dealer and hope for some solution.

I had the same thing happen for the first time to my bike (2500 miles on lvl 2) yesterday morning on the way to work. Warmed up to two bars and as I was taking off at 10ish mph red lights flash and bike hesitates. Rode the bike the bike around my apt complex and couldn't get above 10mph. Turned off dtc and no more problem. Got to work and called the dealer, advisor thought it could be cold tires on cold pavement causing wheelspin. Next ride I started the bike with dtc off warmed up, did some tire scrubbing, stopped and turned dtc on and no issues. Maybe was just a glitch in ecu. Let us know what your dealer says. I'll take mine in if it happens again.

Its seems obvious to be  a bug or problem with the DTC ECU. It is not an isolated unit issue, but happens to many monster EVO.

The best you can do, is write a letter to Ducati NA explaining the problem.  I am hoping that after several reports they will investigate and advice on how to fix.

In this video I managed to capture the problem when it happened.

Just had this happen to me as well. Going home from work the DTC was on and working fine, stopped at a gas station and when I pulled out the bike would not go above roughly 10mph without the TC lights coming on and preventing the bike from going any faster. Turned off the DTC and everything was fine, turned it back on and the problem returned.
I'm not so worried about having to live without DTC, it's more the thought that the problem could get worse and leave me stranded somewhere.

Bike just turned 3,000 miles and noticed that others seems to report the problem happening in the 2000-3000 mile range.

Update: DTC working fine again. Went to the dealer and talked to the mechanic, and he said he thought it might be a bad wheel sensor, and that if it happened again to bring it in and he would change it out. I asked if he had heard of this problem before and he said he had not. So not sure how wide spread the issue is.

1200 miles on 2012 Monster 1100evo. Experienced same problem about a month ago. Turn bike off and on, problem went away and not surfaced again. Dealer has not heard of issue. Recall in the works????

DTC would never generate a recall, ABS maybe "maybe". This is "service advisory" stuff. Do you know what a recall is?!  8)

It happened to mine just before the first servicing. I have let the tech know about it and he told me afterward that it had ajusted the front ABS sensor and since then, it never happen again!!

Just happened to me yesterday for the first time and I have DTC turned off completely.  I've never had it on in fact.

[bang] i only have 2050miles on it .... Never happened to me before... The only thing that happened once was that I overfilled her with gas and the engine light went on... Since then I've been carefull with the gas level and never happened again... From w.e I read it happens btw 2000~ 3000 miles :(  I dont play with the dtc , its always on level 2 .. I figured the middle should be the best option... I hope it doesn't happen to me... I'll post it if it happens... I think it has smth to do with the sensors...
