I'm trying to remove my entire factory exhaust and under the seat where the Y thing is connected, the right side had a nut and the left side has a different type of attachment..I need to lift the tank etc to get an Allen wrench in there and I can't get to it..is there an easy way to do this?

No "easy" way to lift the tank on the new gens but then it's not difficult either, just time consuming. When the fairings are off the tank and the right side banjo bolt is removed there is just the one Allen bolt under the tail end of the tank assembly. You get to it from underneath, just above the "Y". Then you can lift the tank and swing it out without disconnecting the fuel lines.

With the tank off its also easier to get a tool in to reach the o2 sensors and the vertical cylinder flange nuts, if you haven't done so already.
Ceramic coating your exhaust?
