18k on belts?!
The motors in those bikes are water cooled, so I'm thinking that's got something to do with it.
I'm more concerned about the 5 years, I've a strong feeling that in the real world that will turn out to be never.

V4 has it's own dedicated new valve shims and halfrings, plus the bores are 7mm smaller than any 4-valver before, so that means to me that they're smaller than the existing 6mm taperlocks in use on a few motors.
That's really small.
