try...hooking up the shop vac  to the pipe  where the water drains to, that may be plugged. or, if yer shop vac has a blower function... try blowing the drain pipe clear.

allright- i got my shop vac woking now.  and it does have a blower function.

okay, at the lowest point in the 'tub', there is the main drain which gets tubed to the drain pump.   BUT- a couple inches above the lower drain, is another drain which is actually directly above the drain pump assembly and drains tube into the drain pump assembly housing, and from there, both are carried away by the final drain line which goes to the disposal.

i'm wondering if there is something stuck inside of all this plastic housing.

check all that... but also check the drain in the wall. your problem may not be with the washer itself.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help, I used to do appliance repair, but I'm more familiar with Whirlpool and Maytag.

I have a Whirlpool GU 1500XT.  Clean light started the dreaded 7 blinks.  Sure enough, the screen on the chopper was blocked with debris.  The dogs that drive the blade on the chopper are broken.  Is there a way to fix this without going for a whole motor?  Rinsing the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher seems pointless to me, and a new motor is too expensive for a 7 year old appliance.  If it was up to me I would just turn it into a dish storage unit, but...

Some machines won't drain if the vent that is near your sink faucet gets clogged.  Not all washers use a vent but if they do this could be the issue.  I've had lemon seeds clog it before.  Doesn't take a lot and the vent cover just pulls off or unscrews and is easy to check.
Sorry I'm late getting to the party.

I'll bet $$ it's this part:

Check valve

Lil flap gets corroded from the detergent, which stops the line from pressurizing...

I pulled my friggin dishwasher out 2 times to double check everything else... Also thinking something was clogging a line. Turned out to be this $7 part.

You remove the four screws holding the screen and molded plastic cage inside the rear of the dishwasher to expose the check valve assembly. Then unscrew the piston and nut assembly  and replace it with the new one.

I also stayed in a Holiday Inn last night.
