Yeah, that's a pretty good ride for a 16 year old.  Hope she does well and stays safe.

How's the insurance on it with a 16-year old?

man my first car was a 1978 caprice classic station wagon, yeah it had the big block V8 but it attracted girls like great whites attract seals.

Favorite convo i read on this board
"PICS OR IT DIDNT HAPPEN"
"F**K U IT HAPPENED"

Suzuki Blvd M109R " Sliver " = assassinated by cager
PW 696 " Pearl " = traded in
M1100 " Loki " = Viking God of mischief ( Goddess in this case )
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in a pretty pristine body, but rather to come in sliding sideways all used up screaming F*CK YEAH WHAT A RDIE!!

Nearly 3 pages and nobody has mentioned how you can mod the piss out of the SRT4 to run some damned impressive quarter mile times.  ;)

I think that's a general understanding with this group. 400hp comes a little too easily...

Well I picked up the SRT4 today and all I can say is WOW!  This thing is a boat load of fun.  My son and I put 150 miles on it and he and my 16 yo daughter took it up to the state line on Hwy S.C. 28.  This is a smooth piece of road and is very "technical" for a primary road.  The car just ate it up.  My God but that thing will fly and handles like it's on rails.  It really reminds be of my Ducati - a street sleeper and sneaky fast.  A 100 mph comes up amazingly fast for a little 4 cylinder.

This is my/our/ well ..... my daughter's first turbo charged engine.  I gotta remember who I bought this car for.  Boost comes in at very low rpm and it just feels like there a big hand pushing you faster and faster.  Extremely docile around town and just plain fun to drive.  I reallly don't see how one would manage to keep the car on the road with the stage three kit that Dodge sells for $4000 that makes 365 HP.  It's just make the beast with two backsing insane.

Little Rachael took her first manual transmission lesson by driving back up the mountain and she took to it like a duck to water.  She's definitely got the got the high performance gene and has a wonderful feel for the road.  I think all her dirt biking helped a lot.

I LOVE this little car.

Thanks for all the comments. You guys are great. [thumbsup]

Oh yea, this is a self portrait she's a little over 5'9" and still growing.
