...snip...
as for u short bus bacon. U guys don't even need helmets in some states of the us. That's insane!!!!!!!! And here we are winging about mm distance on indicators. Wow.

Insane is right!!!  waytogo
I'm an all the gear all the time guy.  I'm not a fan of the government legislating common sense, but I think that if you're stupid enough to ride without gear, you get what you deserve....   Tongue

It's illegal to ride without a helmet in California, btw...  Almost every Harley rider you see here wears these little half helmets that look like soup bowls. That ain't gonna help in a crash at all....   bang head   Roll Eyes

Cheers,

I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it

+1

Unfortunately if it were me who was in the accident, be someone elses fault or not, and they died, due to no helmet/gear, I'd feel like absolute shit and no doubt id be a mess emotionally. Even if I didnt know them.

Wearing gear is actually a selfless act, you are not only saving your own skin, but the emotional state of more importantly your family, friends, riding buddies and even the random 3rd person who was involved in the dingle.

But perhaps this is another thread completey. Already no doubt covered elsewhere.

"Cool"? "Tough"?  I'll take "stupid"!
