On-coming traffic
Isn't that what front indicators are for?
BTW, I don't think they are strictly legal either ... and dare I say many of our indicator setups may not be.
Kind of off topic, but what are the hand signals while riding a bike? I know how it is meant to work in a car ... but on a bike? Taking your hand away from the throttle and brake can't be a good thing. Are signals mirror reversed on the left hand? I am sure most drivers wouldn't have a clue anyway. Anybody know?
Rob.
Just so you know Lillie doesn't have any indicators and I just use whatever means I can to let people know my intentions ... just don't know the correct procedure.
Hey Betty.
Your really making me work hard here
I think we all know what Desmo times was trying to get at. i did pick that up my self.should read
incoming As for hand signals they are perfectly legal in NSW p62 section 5
Motor cycle hand book
http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/licensing/downloads/motorcycle_riders_handbook.pdfThink of all the vintage bikes on the road pre indicators.
Possibly a lot of those Duc's at the concourse didn't have any?
30 M'ts is when you should start to indicate before turning.
usually you are of the gas so a quick right hand signal is possible.
Left turn to easy, hand signals between gear changes
As for lane changing who uses indicators anyway
and right hand signals next to impossible .
I still like to use hand signals now and then .As indicators i my opinion are next to useless during the day any way.
As they say ride defensively or so it goes.
And who or WTF is LILLIE? We got to talk!!
