Is there any alternative to the DP ecu for the 696 in regard to custom tuning. I have a local shop with all the equipment but Don't want to fork out 1200 for the DP ecu.. If I were to get the MonoBoom I would definitely want to tune my bike.
There is a lot of info for the S*R bikes but not for the 696/1100 in terms of tuning. I need my options!!

M696/M1100 were the first Ducs to be running ECU/fuelling by Siemens.... and whilst there are options for previous Marelli systems.... I've heard of nothing so far for 696/1100. I'm sure somebody somewhere is working on it right now though

So for motocreations exhaust my best bet is a DP ecu, which is or is not custom tunable?

DP ECU is not custom tunable (at least not until somebody figures out how to reflash it).
